The 2020-2021 school year will be my 19th year in teaching, and this will be my fourth year to teach at FMS! This year, I will teach remote classes for students whose last names end in Ro-Z. Previously, I taught English I, PAP English I, English II, and EOC Remediation courses at Floresville High School. Although I definitely miss my colleagues and former students at FHS, I am really enjoying teaching at FMS!
I have been married for 16 years to my husband Ed, and we have two sons, Jake (13) and Brody (11) who both attend FISD schools. My husband and I both graduated from East Central High School. I attended the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) and while there, I majored in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations. A few years later, I went back to UTSA to attain my secondary education certificate to teach English. Go Roadrunners!
My family enjoys spending time with extended family, camping, hiking, swimming, biking, reading, floating the local rivers, and spending time with our pets Willow and Willie. We really enjoy being outdoors!
I absolutely love our Floresville community and schools, and I consider it a great privilege to be a part of it all!
