I am very excited to be teaching 6th grade Advanced ELAR this year and 8th grade ELAR.  I have been a teacher at FISD for 25 years.  I taught 3rd grade for 15 years and 5th grade for 4 years.  I'm a  FHS graduate and a Southwest Texas State University graduate and very happy to call Floresville my home.  I have been married to my husband Mario for 29 years.  We have 3 wonderful children. I am blessed and proud to be teaching the children of my community. I love reading and collecting books.! This year, students will be reading a variety of books and short stories and be assigned several challenging writing assignments. They will need to have a book with them everyday.  I look forward to a fabulous year!
