Welcome to my page...
2022-2023 is my 15th year as a middle school teacher. I am excited about this school year to try new things in my classroom like implementing blended learning opportunities and helping my students grow.
I have been married to my husband, Michael for 12 years. We have two children, Evan a 7th grader and Emma a 4rd grader. We have a love for animals, which include 2 dogs, 4 cats, 5 chickens, and lots of cows. We love the country life, which keeps us busy! During our free time, we enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, and visiting new places. When I can find time, I enjoy reading and scrapbooking.
I am a graduate of the University of Northen Iowa (Go Panthers!) where I recieved my Master's degree in Higher Education Administration and my bachelor's degree in Sociology. I am also an alumni of Palo Alto College. I began my carrer working at Northwest Vista College then the University of Texas at San Antonio as a college advisor. Then, I decided I had a passion for teaching and pursued becoming a teacher. I worked as a middle school teacher with SAISD for five years. After five years of commuting, I wanted to be closer to home which brought me to Floresville.
