Parent/Guardian Feedback Virtual Meetings

CLICK ON THE HEADLINE or READ FULL STORY TO GO TO THE RSVP FORM FMS Parents/Guardians, As we approach the start of the 2nd quarter of school, FMS administration wants to get some feedback from you as parents regarding how the 2020-2021 school year is going. As such, we will be holding virtual parent meetings Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, October 15-17, at various times throughout the day. We want each session to be small enough so we can have more personalized conversations with you, so we are asking that you RSVP for which session you plan on attending. Each session will hold 30 participants. If we see that we need to hold more sessions, or that we need to increase the number of participants, we will adjust accordingly. The three main questions we will discuss are 1) What is going well at FMS? 2) If you could share one idea with FMS administration to improve the campus, what would it be? 3) If you could share idea with FMS teachers to improve the campus, what would it be? The RSVP form is below. Once a session reaches 30 participants, that time slot will disappear from the form, so please sign-up as soon as you get the chance. Hispanic Heritage Month Message

As we come to the close of our Hispanic Heritage Month activities, we want to remind you of a culminating family celebration that we would like you and your child to be involved in. Students have been introduced to Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), specifically how family members are remembered and celebrated. If you would like to honor a deceased relative and have them recognized on our campus website, we invite you to fill in the slide template provided below and then email the finished product to dlehman@fisd.us by October 12th. We will then compile all the student and family submissions and the slideshow will be posted on our website on Friday, October 16th . We hope you take the time to participate in this community celebration. When you click on the headline, the file will ask you to make a copy. When you are finished, you can share this back to Mr. Lehman (dlehman@fisd.us)
